A few of my favorite dispatches from the lands of Mountain Laurel (Smokey Mountains Tennessee) and Crape Myrtles (Richmond, VA):
-Sam & Jack buying pocket knives (thanks GG) from the Dixie Stampede gift shop and proudly tucking them into the fishing pockets of their shorts everywhere the went

-First night in a hotel, Morgan inquiring "Anybody want the rest of this dried up brownie " (a biscotti)
-Jack proudly hooking a Blue Gill from Grandpa Bob's boat in Douglass lake
-Sam swimming across the public pool in Gatlinburg without resting (40')
-Morgan confidently strutting around the mini golf course, smoothly knocking the ball into the whole repeatedly (after carefully placing the ball wherever she pleased)
-Watching the sunset nightly from Grandpa Bob's deck with Nadine in Adirondack chairs at 9:30 at night
-The car car ride...
-Seeing Jack & Sam triumphantly figure out how to scale to the roof of the Halloran's shed as the had observed Baily (10) and Sean (8) do with ease
-Morgan bravely dropping into Douglass lake from Grandpa Bob's boat and swimming around with otters yards away
